The CombSafe Clip™ makes strip-based Varroa treatments easier, cleaner, and less damaging to your comb. Designed for use with ApiVar® and VarroxSan®, the clip centers each strip between two brood frames. This reduces — and in many cases eliminates — the comb chewing that usually happens when strips rest directly against the wax.

Each clip is 3D printed in-house at Ozark Bee Barn. They’re reusable and built to last multiple treatment cycles when handled properly.

Notes

• Designed for ApiVar® and VarroxSan®.

• May also work with CheckMite+®, HopGuard® III, and other strip-based treatments where strips are placed between frames. Thickness and fit may vary.

• While the clips typically reduce comb removal, bee behavior can vary. Some colonies may still chew around treatments even when strips are centered.

• VarroxSan® users: To maximize clip life, leave a small gap between the strip and the peak of the clip. Oxalic acid can slowly weaken plastic with direct contact.

• As with all 3D printed equipment, minor cosmetic variation is normal and does not affect function.
